A lucky Virginia lottery winner thought he had won $100 from a scratch-off ticket game. However, his winnings were $100,000, the second-highest prize of the game. Teddy Breheim bought the $326,000,000 Fortune scratch-off ticket from Rite Aid in Chesapeake.
Not wasting any time, the player quickly scratched off the ticket, only to discover a windfall of $100. According to gambling headlines, the ticket costs $50, and Breheim believed this was a decent payment.
Carrying on with his day, he slipped the ticket into his pocket. But then something surprising happened: Breheim looked at the ticket again later and was startled to see that his prize was $100,000.
